NDC desperate to come back to 'create, loot and share'; they’ll 'rot' in opposition – Akufo-Addo

Image
President Nana Akufo-Addo has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in its desperation to come back to power to “create, loot and share”, has resorted to propaganda and falsehood, adding that the biggest opposition party is doing so because it has realised it will spend a long time out of government. Debunking claims by the NDC and its Minority in parliament that his government intends relocating the University Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) from Somanya to his hometown Bunso in the Eastern Region, the president said on Thursday, 22 November 2018 on day one of his three-day tour of the region that: “I come from the area of Bunso, so it is very easy for them [NDC] to come and tell you that: ‘All the things that are meant for you, he is now taking it to his hometown.’ That is not the basis on which I am governing Ghana. I am not standing only for the people of Akim Abuakwa or Bunso, but I stand for the entire nation of Ghana”. This deliberate act of misinfor...

Ask What You Can Do For Your Country – EL to Shatta Wale

Image
Rapper EL has reacted to Shatta Wale’s claim that Ghana is a village. In a tweet, he used a quote by former American President, John F. Kennedy, to advise the dance hall artiste. Shatta who had described Ghana as a village during his Indigo 02 Arena show in London has explained that his reason for calling Ghana a village is premised on the fact that Ghana is under-developed and the leaders care less about the country’s well-being. “I’ll continue to #GhanaIsAVillage until I start seeing change .., yes I craze .. Wetin better ,country wey hospitals no get bed, Roads all spoil,if leader sick either dem fly out or chopper picks them during accidents ,where the ambulances Dey .. We Dey Village stop the nonsense,” he tweeted. The hopeless and aimless romantic relationship between Fella Makafui and her ‘Mugu’, AMG Medikal which is currently trending on social media, seems to be drifting apart just as we expected. Earlier today, ghanacelebrities.com reported that the YOLO star, Fella has already started begging bloggers to delete every post about her love affair with Medikal from their websites.
