Asamoah Gyan speaks on juju in football

                                 Gyan is Ghana's all-time highest scorer Legendary Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan has all but confirmed that he has used black magic otherwise known as ‘juju’ in his career before. Gyan is the all-time top scorer for Ghana’s senior national team, Black Stars and he’s had a very exciting career having represented the national side at multiple FIFA World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations tournaments. At club level, he started but played briefly in the local league with Liberty Professionals before moving abroad as a teenager to Italian club Udinese. He subsequently joined clubs in France, England, Turkey, UAE and China. Ghana’s Covid-19 cases now over 2,000 with 212 recoveries and 17 deaths

Ghana has recorded 403 more cases of Covid-19, taking the tally to 2,074, the Ghana Health Service says. On its Covid-19 website, the Service says 212 people have recovered from the disease. One more person has died, increasing to death toll to 17. Greater Accra still has the highest cases of the disease with 1,795 infections. Don’t rent houses to foreigners without COVID-19 clearance – Atta Akyea to landlords

Government has asked all landlords to as a mandatory requirement inspect the COVID-19 status of all foreigners before renting out properties to them. This is according to the Works and Housing Minister, Samuel Atta Akyea who was speaking during a press briefing on Tuesday. “Landlords must also be wary of potential tenants from foreign countries. It is very mandatory to insist that without a COVID-19 negative clearance the landlord should not rent out the premises. We all know that this pandemic has been imported so be careful that in the name of dollars you do not go and bring in a foreigner who hasn’t gotten clearance that he or she is not infected by the disease to come and live in the premises. Completing abandoned hospitals more pressing – Africa Centre for Health Policy

The Africa Centre for Health Policy (ACeHP) has advised the government to complete abandoned health projects before constructing new ones. President Nana Akufo-Addo recently announced that his government will be constructing 88 new hospitals in some districts across the country beginning this year. Commenting on the announcement, the Executive Director of the Centre, Ahmed Farhan noted that, “Though we have had a backlog of uncompleted or completed but not commissioned health facilities, we still have a vacuum created by the nonexistence of some of these facilities. COVID-19: Government to begin construction of 88 district hospitals within a year – Nana Addo

                              President Akufo-Addo Government, will this year, begin the construction of 88 Hospitals in districts without such facilities, according to President Akufo-Addo. Delivering his eighth televised address to the nation on the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus in the country on Sunday, April 26, 2020, the President said: "There are eighty-eight (88) districts in our country without district hospitals; we have six (6) new regions without regional hospitals; we do not have 5 infectious disease control centres dotted across the country, and we do not have enough testing and isolation centres for diseases like COVD-19. COVID-19: Ghana's Case Count Now 1550, 11 Fatalities, 155 Recoveries

The Ghana Health Service affirmed this in its latest update of the pandemic's situation in the country on Sunday, April 26. The updated case count comes after 271 more persons tested positive for the virus. 21 additional recoveries have been confirmed with the total number of recoveries now 155.
