Red, yellow and the spear,
The devil it bare but glorious we fair,
Win! win!! we share,
Where loose pierced our heart in thirst,
Running on the rails through to our dreams,
Trumpets fancied on the theatre of dreams,
Glory! glory!! we sung in history,
1998 it been kept as a seed,
Thou jealousy from the treble thy eyes bleed,
In unity I feed, in United I have been,
Climbing the ladders with Sir's and Charlton's,
An archives of waving trophies,
A famine land breeding groceries,
The reds side of counting histories,
Manchester! Manchester!! we shouted,
The red side in United.

Police probe viral video of alleged misconduct of its officer

 The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigations into an alleged incident at the West Hills Mall that led to the death of a 32-year-old man, Shadrach Arloo. In a press release dated January 31, 2023, the Police administration said its officials had contacted a relative of the deceased, Perpetual Didier, who first made the allegation in a viral audio. “The attention of the Police Service has been drawn to a viral video in which a female who identifies herself as Perpetual Didier alleges that the action of a Police Officer has caused the death of her brother. “The Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) has commenced investigation into the allegation and has contacted Madam Perpetual Didier to assist the investigation,” Assist. Superintendent of Police, Victor K Dosso assured in the press release.

State will assist in Christian Atsu's funeral - President Akufo-Addo

  President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has announced that the state will assist the family of the late Ghanaian football international, Christian Atsu, to give the soccer star a befitting funeral. President Akufo-Addo said he has instructed the chief of staff at the office of the President, Madam Akosua Frema Osei Opare, to liaise with the family, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to ensure that the decision government is executed.
