A 20-year-old Kenyan man has confessed to the gruesome murder of his grandmother.   Appearing before Mombasa principal magistrate Vincent Adet, the suspect identified as Abdulaziz Ali Swaleh told the court that shortly after joining Illuminati cult, he was instructed to kill his grandmother. Swaleh said; "It's true l killed her. Covid-19: Don’t go to China if your trip is not essential – Govt warns

The Government of Ghana has cautioned Ghanaians against travelling to China as Covid-19 cases spike in the Asian country. In a travel alert, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, said as much as possible, only essential trips should be undertaken until further notice. The Foreign Affairs Ministry also stated that effective Friday, January 6, all persons travelling from China to Ghana will have to produce a 48-hour negative PCR test and undergo mandatory antigen testing at a point of entry free of charge until further notice. Covid-19 cases in China have increased rapidly in the last few months after the country relaxed its Covid rules. Guinness World Records announced Sidney de Carvalho Mesquita, aka Tio Chico, was awarded the world record title for the farthest eyeball pop (male) when he showed off his unusual ability to make his eyes protrude 0.71 inches out of their sockets. He said his skill was discovered in childhood, and his parents had originally feared it was a symptom of disease, but he was given a clean bill of health by doctors. "My skill is definitely a gift. Four siblings electrocuted after trying to steal electrical transmission wires

Tears flow as four siblings have been electrocuted after attempting to steal transmission cables. The Residents of Awoja Village in Soroti District, Uganda were thrown in a mourning when these four siblings were electrocuted on Monday morning November 28, 2022. Two of the siblings died instantly, while the other two were seriously injured and taken to hospital. SP Ageca Oscar Gregg, spokesman for the East Kyoga Regional Police, confirmed the incident and announced that the bodies of the two siblings would be released to the family for burial unless they received the report of doctor’s autopsy before handing it over. According to reports, Epou, 29, and his other brother Moses Atachu 28 years of age died instantly. The other two seriously injured people are Samuel Esuri, 23, and his younger brother, whose name has been withheld. According to the Bretton Wood institution’s October 2022 Africa Pulse Report, food prices have since January 1, 2022, gone up by 122%. Since the start of 2022, food prices have increased sharply in many countries, largely due to the Russian/Ukraine war. According to the Food Price Index in Countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Ghana has recorded very sharp prices in food on the African continent.
