Nana Yaa Brefo gets emotional on set as she recounts how she lost her womb and baby at the hospital

It can be recalled that Dr. Kuto lost his wife at the Ridge hospital some few days ago. In an interview with news agencies he recounted what happened and what his next step of action will be. According to Dr. Kuto he never intended to let the world know about this.

He however rescinded that decision after reviewing the situation. He said he felt he had to let the nation know and prevent needles loss of lives at hospitals in Ghana.

Today June 29, 2020, Dr. Emmanuel Kuto was at the studios of Angel FM to shed light on the issue. He couldn’t speak much because he said the doctors at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, formerly Ridge Hospital had told called him for a meeting this morning.

He recounted how a wrong medication made him lose his wife. Since the story of Dr. Kuto went viral many have come out to share similar experiences at hospitals. Dr. Kuto mentioned that many called to share similar experiences with him and comforted him.

Nana Yaa Brefo today sent the whole ‘Anopa Bofoo’ panelist into near tears when she recounted her experience. Nana Yaa Brefo who was quiet and listened as other shared their stories later couldn’t bear the pain anymore as she opened up on her own experience. According to Nana Yaa it all happened at a time that she was pregnant. She was due for delivery so visited the hospital.
She was supposed to undergo surgery but this went wrong and she had to lose her womb and baby as a result of a mistake by the doctors. Nana Yaa who could hold back her tears talked about how her in laws kept praying for her to have a second child without knowing that she had no womb to deliver again. She said that was the saddest things to have happened to her.

Captain Smart who was obviously shocked also got emotional. Nana Yaa Brefo continued that at a point she lost the feeling of knowing when to urinate. She will just sit and urinate on herself. She reiterated that she went through a lot and it took something special to pull her out of that experience.

Captain Smart used the opportunity to launch the ‘Patient Lives Matter’ campaign to felt against medical maltreatment and negligence

17-year-old kidnapped girl reunited with family

A 17-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped in Ho on January 21, around Stanbic Bank where she went to pay her school fees has been rescued and reunited with her family. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Anthony Danso, Ho Municipal Police Commander told the GNA that the girl, name withheld, was found by her uncle the next day in Aflao near ECOBANK, where the uncle worked. The Commander said the Police was informed on January 21, 2019, that the girl, a student of Sonrise Christian High School in Ho failed to return home after she was sent to pay her school fees at the Bank around 0900 hours.
