Awutu Senya West NPP Chairman Suspended Indefinitely

Central Regional NPP Executive Committee has suspended the Awutu Senya West NPP Constituency Chairman, Charles Amoansah indefinitely for showing indiscipline and gross disrespect against the patrons, council of elders of the Party.

He also been inciting citizens to vote against the incumbent Member of Parliament Nenyi George Andah come 2020 Elections

According sources,Mr Charles Amoansah has never rended an account to the party executives since he was elected as Awutu Senya West Constituency Chairman..

Speaking to the Chairman of the Awutu Senya West NPP Council of Elders Baffuor Odiatuo Ofori Achempong , he said ,he led the council to filed a petition against the Constituency chairman at the Regional Level.

He indicated that, Charles Amoansah is not cooperating with the rest of the Constituency executives and he has successfully created factions within the party which is a treat to the NPP come 2020 Elections.

Baffuor Odiatuo Ofori added that, the suspended chairman, Charles Amoansah was invited to appear before the Constituency Council of elders to for a round table discussion about the allegations levelled against him but he refused.

He several messages were sent via phone WhatsApp messages, text messages but he failed to appear before the council, that is why they petitioned Regional executives to suspend him.

Baffuor Odiatuo Ofori Achempong also cautioned Constituency Party executives, Regional executives and some members of Parliament to desist from indiscipline, arroganism in the party. 

Meanwhile when the Central Regional Secretary , Tekyi Mensah on phone confirmed that, Awutu Senya West NPP Constituency Chairman Charles Amoansah has bee suspended indefinitely.

17-year-old kidnapped girl reunited with family

A 17-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped in Ho on January 21, around Stanbic Bank where she went to pay her school fees has been rescued and reunited with her family. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Anthony Danso, Ho Municipal Police Commander told the GNA that the girl, name withheld, was found by her uncle the next day in Aflao near ECOBANK, where the uncle worked. The Commander said the Police was informed on January 21, 2019, that the girl, a student of Sonrise Christian High School in Ho failed to return home after she was sent to pay her school fees at the Bank around 0900 hours. He said the Police started working with the girl’s family and was informed that someone was chatting on Whatsapp with the girl’s phone and showed pictures of the girl tied to a plastic chair ready for rituals.
