                                     Ama K Abebrese

Actress Ama Konadu Abebrese is quiet about weekend reports that she has given birth to a beautiful baby girl.

According to Ghanacelebrities.com, the ‘Sinking Sands’ actress got married to a mixed-race boyfriend awhile back and now has a baby for him.

The online platform was also the first to report months ago that Ama K was pregnant for several months but was hiding it, claiming that was the reason she no longer attends public events.

But the actress won’t respond to the claims.

Ama K Abebrese is a consummate British-Ghanaian presenter and actress who began her training at Youth Culture Television in London, an organisation started by Sabrina Guinness on Challenge Anneka.

She later became a presenter on BBC2’s youth shows- Pass Da Mic and The English Fileeducational series.

She went on to become a regular TV presenter on OBE TV, hosting and producing a number of shows like One Touch and entertainment chat show, On The Sofa, on which she has interviewed guests like Akon and Ziggy Marley.

Ama K started acting at age 11.  In London, she performed on a number of shows, even though she hadn’t appeared in any major movie. Later, she got featured in Leila Djansi-directed movies like ‘Sinking Sands’, ‘Ties that Bind’ and others.

She also has a degree in Drama from St Mary’s University College, Surrey, UK, apart from her BA in Media Arts and remains one of Ghana’s celebrated actresses
